Provincial nominee program allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate an individual who wishes to immigrate to a particular province. Each province and territory has its own streams and criteria for their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). After a successful nomination by province/territory, you have to make a separate application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada for permanent residency. This program is for workers who:
- Have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory
- Want to live in that province
- Want to become permanent residents of Canada
